Long robin panel £50
Description
Fused glass wavy free-standing hand-painted robin with holly leaves and berries.
The panel looks especially effective in front of a light source and, being curved, you could place a couple of tea lights behind it. The appearance and colours of this piece vary according to the light and time of day.
I created an original design for this piece, using a range of glass powders to create the tinted background and firing the piece for the first time. Then I used glass enamel paint to add the holly leaves and berries and finally the robin. The piece was then fired at least one more time to set the paint and to slump the panel into its curved shape.
These panels are individually cut and painted, so will vary in composition from the photos. If you are placing an order and would like to see the actual panel I will be sending out, I’ll be happy to send you a photo in advance.
