Description
Short curved fused glass wavy free-standing hand-painted dragonfly panel with watery effect background.
Each dragonfly is created as a glass wafer, fired and painted before being fused to the background. This is then fired again to give the wavy panel shape. The dragonflies contain some iridised glass, so can show a subtle rainbow effect at times. Changing light and time of day will give this piece a range of different appearances.
I used the British Emperor dragonfly for my inspiration, because of my love of turquoises and greens.
These panels and dragonflies are individually cut and painted, so will vary slightly from the photos. If you are placing an order and would like to see the actual panel I will be sending out, I’ll be happy to send you a photo in advance.
This panel is available with a wavy or straight top – please select the option you prefer.
