Fused glass curved free-standing hand-painted daisies with spring green transparent background, inspired by the first little daisies to brave Spring!
The panel looks especially effective in front of a light source and, being curved, you could place a tea light behind it. You could use it as a windowsill or table decoration. The appearance and colours of this piece vary according to the light and time of day.
I created an original design for this piece, after seeing the first daisies out in my garden. I started with a clear piece of glass and coloured this with spring green glass powder and fired it for the first time. Then I added the colouring of the daisies and leaves using enamel glass paint and fired it again. Finally I added black enamel paint to outline the design and fired the piece once more.
